What is Musculoskeletal Pain?

Musculoskeletal pain can be felt in your bones, joints, tendon, ligaments, and or muscle. Sometimes this pain can be localized in one focal spot or present as radiating, shooting pain.

Depending on the pain generating tissue, the quality of pain can vary. Bony pain can be described as dull or achy, whereas muscle pain can be sharp.

Sometimes, it’s difficult to explain the pain because you can feel a combination of sensations. If you are uncertain about your symptoms and want to know whether or not it is musculoskeletal in nature, we are more than happy to evaluate you for a peace of mind.
